About
Hossein Farahani is a landscape architect based on the Sunshine Coast, Australia. He commenced photography at the age of sixteen with film cameras, and very soon, he was captivated by the process of capturing images and developing them in the darkroom. While digital technologies surround the world, he still keeps working with films besides digital cameras.
His interest in art and design led him to study architecture and landscape architecture. While he used his photography skills to capture buildings during academic life, he became fascinated by architectural photography itself quickly. He started Architectural Photography in 2008 and established Kav Studio in 2014 for professional architectural photography services.
Other than architecture, Hossein loves travel, astronomy, nature, cultures and anthropology. Landscape, architecture and nightscape have been mostly the subject of his artworks. Hossein's works have featured in many publications, magazines and websites, and many of them have been sold as prints or digital files.
